Edges of text block lightly soiled and toned. Light lean. A little musty. Dust jacket has wet stains on all panels, mostly at the folds. Tear with loss on spine panel. Jacket was in two pieces, fixed on inside with clear tape. Top edge of jacket worn with chipping. No sign of the book being wet; good job dust jacket! Some offsetting from jacket on free endpapers. Tight and otherwise clean. Enjoy this Nero Wolfe novel! Very good / Fair. Item #5599
