Half bound leather with marbled boards and endpapers. Gilt designs and lettering on spine. Top edge of the text block gilt. Some pages still uncut. Complete, but interestingly in volume 1 an illustration is opposite p. 226 instead of p. 228, which is what the illustration list shows. Bookplate on verso of front free end paper. Corners bumped, spine ends and edges lightly worn. Tight and otherwise clean. Enjoy these Hugo poems and an essay about Napoleon III's takeover of France! Very good. Item #4109
