Good, full leather hardcover copies of three of the four volumes, which contain six of the eighth original volumes, of "The Ancient History of the Egyptians, Carthaginians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Medes and Persians, Macedonians and Grecians" by Charles Rollin. From the fifteenth London edition revised and corrected. These include volumes 1, 3 & 4 (1,2,5,6,7,8) from the original 8-volume set. Ornate floral designs on both boards. Gilt lettering and ornate design to spines. All page edges marbled. Spines moderately rubbed with, generally, one or two small sections of the leather chipped away; does not affect the lettering or design on the spines to a great extent. Most hinges wobbly if not detached at ends. Still holding together. Pages clean of any marks. Will be shipped carefully and well protected. Shipping may be more, especially for oversees, due to the weight of the three books. Enjoy this 3/4 partial set of a seldom seen edition of the Rollin's, well known, history of the ancient world!
