Very good hardcover ex-library copy of "Cry For the Baron" by John Creasey as Anthony Morton in a fine priced dust jacket. Inscription plus signature as "John Creasey" on the front free end paper. 1st American Edition. Ex-library copy originally priced $4.50. Usual ex-library withdrawn markings (under the Creasey inscription and on the check-out card holder), large library sticker covering title on the HALF title page, and library embossed stamp on the title page. As well as aforementioned card holder on the back free end paper and a catalog number stamp on the Contents page. Previous dust jacket cover had been glued to the paste-downs, and then the cover was removed leaving glued remnants but not any tearing to the board itself. Having said all of that. This was a very well kept library book. The only flaw to the jacket is the library's mystery sticker, which is removable, in the form of a question mark on the lower spine. New dust jacket cover. In my opinion, presentable. Enjoy this signed mystery by maybe the most productive crime writers of the them all! Very Good / Fine. Item #2584
